Cielo Networks© was founded in May 2006 by a cadre of microwave industry veterans to serve the wireless infrastructure market by developing, integrating, supplying and supporting high performance, cost effective point-to-point licensed band digital microwave solutions with future proof capacity scalability and IP/TDM interface flexibility. Subsequent product line expansions added compact, IP optimized systems. The company is based in San Diego, CA. Cielo Networks' SkyLink microwave radio systems are in service across the USA in applications including nationwide K-12 regional school & library networks, national scale wireless ISPs, top tier LECs, large carrier's carriers, major cable TV MSOs, low latency optimized high frequency trading applications, & critical government networks here and abroad. Cielo Networks SkyLink systems are approved for use by all military services and Dept. of Defense entities (JF12/DD1494 approved, CAGE code 4YGL4).
