LICENSED 900MHz NARROWBAND PTP LINK​

 

Similar to all-indoor 6-11GHz microwave systems, 900MHz narrowband PTP links have all radio components indoors which offers the following advantages.​

• Very high-power RF section - Indoor RF sections can be built at higher output power than outdoor systems, allowing for longer distances. The maximum radio output power is 5W.

• Easy component replacement - Replacement of parts and modules can be easily done within a network rack without a costly and time-consuming tower climbs. All indoor systems help meet uptime requirements for mission-critical links operated by public safety agencies. 

• Superior Rx sensitivity allows a very long distance operation of the links. Link distances in excess of 100 miles is possible with good LOS and installation of antennas at high locations on towers.
